Standard Exclusions

Salt's exclusion items are noted below, unless specified & itemised under special conditions of your contract with SALT.

• Any works outside our scope of works

• Resource consents

• Council development contribution fees (if any)

• Water care infrastructure growth fee (if any).

• Additional of any new public sewer or stormwater connections (Including capping or moving existing drains).

• Auckland transport charges i.e. Traffic management of Road closures etc.

• Pre-construction and post-construction CCTV Inspections.

• Bridging piles over existing public drainage.

• Retaining walls (Any Kind)

• Anchor piles or any special engineering requirements for foundations.

• Gas and ancillary charges.

• Sewer or grinder pump, soak holes.

• Relocation of fire hydrants / water mains / public services.

• Rock and its related costs have not been included in this price.

• Extensive ground subsidence or notified geo works.

• Client architects delay due to insufficient detail in drawings.

• Rubbish removal.

• Trees & any arborist works.

• Baseboards , decking & stairs.

• Redirection of utilities (power, water, gas, telecommunications) that supply the existing improvements on the Property.

Important Information

The client or Owner acknowledges that the builder will complete the building works pursuant to the plan's drawings & specifications outline in schedule A & B of the building contract.

Any items exceeding the undefined Provisional Sum allowances or standards amounts or quantities within your contract will constitute as a variation of your contract & you will be issued a estimate variation cost to be approved by the client prior works can commence.
